VOLOTEA MOTION GUIDELINES

An animation system to be used across all Volotea audiovisual comms

VOLOTEASCOPE

An animation system for all formats. For brand consistency, the use of 2:1 format (horizontal / vertical) or 1:1 format (squared) is recommended across Volotea audiovisual comms. The following 2:1 (2160x1080) materials can be also used for 16:9 (1920x1080) format.

END TAG GRAPHIC PROPORTIONS

Following images explain solutions of scale and position of elements, having in mind the Vichy position within the Voloteascope grid at the time of masking, as well as visual weight balance and sense of proportion.

Formats - 2:1 (adaptable to 16:9) and 1:1

END TAG CO-BRANDING GRAPHIC PROPORTIONS

Following images explain solutions of scale and position for good visual weight and proportion. To make it adaptable to different logos (mainly squared or horizontal) a ‘fit in’ area has been created, marking limits of scale that do not compete with Volotea logo.

Formats - 2:1 (adaptable to 16:9) and 1:1

INTRO SOLUTION

For the occasional use of an intro, we suggest using a red-negative simplified version of the Vichy animation or logo animation. A simple masking effect fades out the intro over the footage.

TEXT TRANSITIONS PREFERENCE

The ‘2 blocks’ option (first example in the video) is the preferred solution. However, the ‘1 block’ solution (second example in the video) can be used occasionally with 3-liners or other more complex text formations.

CORNER USE

This is a basic animation principle that might need further exploration. It is meant to be applied to digital formats, such as banners. Texts and images can come in from different corners, respecting 45º principle.

MASKING OPTIONS

Option 1 and 2 are the preferred solutions. In videos that use masking multiple times, the three of them can be combined to add sense of variety.
